Bio
Dr. Reyes San Martin is an experienced endocrinologist at Diabetes and Metabolism Specialists, where he cares for patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, metabolic disorders, and other hormonal health concerns. He is passionate about helping people live healthier, fuller lives by providing personalized treatment plans that fit each patient’s needs and goals.
Dr. San Martin believes in a team-based approach to care. He works closely with other physicians, dietitians, diabetes educators, and health coaches to give patients the tools and support they need to manage their health with confidence.
As a native Spanish speaker, Dr. San Martin is proud to provide care in both English and Spanish to the San Antonio community.
Education & Training
Dr. San Martin completed his medical degree in Mexico City, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine in Texas and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He has also conducted research in endocrinology and obesity at Baylor College of Medicine.
